Clean Hydrogen Task Force Report Draft Call For Comments

The Louisiana Clean Hydrogen Task Force was established pursuant to House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) No. 64 of the 2024 Regular Session to explore and recommend strategic actions that support the development of a clean hydrogen economy in Louisiana. The resolution outlines several key objectives, including:

  • Evaluating the opportunities for hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and use within Louisiana.
  • Identifying regulatory, economic, and infrastructure needs and barriers.
  • Supporting workforce development and innovation in the hydrogen sector.
  • Promoting collaboration between government, academia, and industry stakeholders.

As mandated by HCR 64, the culmination of the Task Force’s efforts is to submit a final report of its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature no later than Monday, December 1, 2025.

The DRAFT Clean Hydrogen Task Force Report is ready for review. Public comment period is now through Friday, November 7, 2025.  Comments may be submitted to TechAsmt@la.gov
